Part Time Technology Support Specialist I
Job Description
The primary responsibility of a Part Time Technology Support Specialist I is to provide technical support to students, staff, and faculty within the district. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with the setup and maintenance of technology devices, and ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally.
- Assist in the deployment and management of school technology resources
- Provide technical assistance to users via phone, email, and in-person visits
- Document and report on system issues and resolutions
- Train users on the proper use and care of technology equipment
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should have a strong background in computer science or a related field, along with experience in providing technical support. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with common IT tools and software is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience in technology support
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
