About the role
We are currently seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in White Plains, NY on a part-time basis for the 2026-27 school year.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver daily lesson plans
- Provide individualized assistance to students
- Regularly communicate about student progress as needed
- Maintain accurate attendance and session reports
- Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success
- Work in fast-paced behavioral health facilities
- Teach in a small classroom setting
- Work 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 11:30am-4:30pm
Qualifications
- B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution
- New York State teaching license (required)
- Comfortable working with adolescent aged students
- Strong organizational skills
- Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
- Reliable Transportation
