Part-Time Teacher

About the role

We are currently seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Baton Rouge, LA on a part-time basis starting the 2025-2026 school year.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lesson plans
• Provide individualized assistance to students
• Regularly communicate about student progress as needed
• Maintain accurate attendance and session reports
• Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success
• Work in a fast-paced behavioral health facility
• Teach in a small classroom setting to adolescent school-age patients receiving treatment

Requirements

• B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution
• Valid LA state teaching license
• Comfortable working with 7th-12th grade students
• Strong organizational skills
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
• Reliable Transportation
