Part Time Tasting Room Associate

About the role

San Antonio Winery is seeking to hire a Part-Time Tasting Room Associates for our Tasting Room in Ontario, CA.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile and a warm welcome.
• EFFECTIVELY advise guests on wine selections and DRIVE wine sales at the counter.
• Able to answer questions and MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS regarding our wine and food menu.
• Handle ROUTINE point-of-sale transactions.
• UPHOLD brand standards for maintaining the bar, patio, and private dining rooms.
• PROPERLY open and pour wine and tasting flights at the counter and tables.
• Maintain BASIC cleaning practices.
• WORK EFFECTIVELY with teammates during DAILY duties and operations.
• Able to ADHERE to POLICIES and PROCEDURES.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a hospitality facing position.
• Must be at least 21 years of age due to government regulations.
• RBS and Forklift certification preferred.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• OUTSTANDING verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
• HIGH energy and ability to work well in a FAST-PACED, TEAM environment.
• FAMILIARITY with or ABILITY to LEARN the operation of POS systems.
• DEMONSTRATED ability to PRIORITY and HANDLE MULTIPLE PROJECTS with LITTLE direction.
• BASIC computer and math skills are required.
• MUST be able to REPELATELY lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• MUST be able to STAND for EXTENDED periods of time.
• AVAILABLE to work CONSISTENTLY on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• BILINGUAL Spanish is a PLUS.

• Available to work consistently on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Pay

Pay Range: $17—$19 USD

Schedule

Available to work CONSISTENTLY on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
