Responsibilities
- Providing hands-on support with kindness and respect
- Assisting with personal care such as dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, and bathing
- Following individualized care plans and documenting progress
- Administering medications per policy
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive environment
- Using approved behavior support techniques
- Encouraging community engagement and participation
- Supporting roles may involve travel between residential and day programs
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in disability services preferred but not required (training provided)
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record meeting specific criteria
