Part-Time Support Professional

About the role

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a flexible daytime shift.

Responsibilities

• Personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Meal preparation, grocery shopping, and household tasks
• Administering medications per policy and documentation
• Following Individual Support Plans (ISPs)
• Providing transportation for appointments and community activities
• Encouraging independence, choice, and community involvement
• Maintaining a safe and respectful environment

Requirements

• Dependability, patience, respect, and flexibility
• Ability to work independently
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
• Effective communication and documentation skills
• Satisfactory background and drug screening
