About the role
The Right At School Childcare Educator position offers a competitive pay range of $18.00-$20.00 per hour, based on education and experience. The schedule is Monday-Friday with flexible availability for substitute work, specifically for After School: 2:40pm-6pm.
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality enrichment programs for children using our internally crafted Disguised Learning curriculum.
- Develop and coach a team passionate about creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children.
- Collaborate with principals and school staff to enhance the instructional experience.
- Participate in local community events to promote the Right At School brand.
- Manage and maintain safety standards including supervision and program paperwork.
Requirements
- Outstanding customer service and relationship building skills.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to use and model appropriate positive discipline.
- Works well in a team environment.
- A passion and drive that inspire a love for learning and the ability to engage children in learning activities in a fun and interactive way.
- Two years of direct experience working with children under 13.
- A year of supervisory experience.
- Age 18 or older.
- Proof of High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 credits from 100 class or above in college coursework.
- Meet state-specific requirements such as FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter, Cleared TB, Proof of MMR, and Food Handlers Card.
