About the role

Right At School Childcare Program seeks Educators and Substitute Educators to join our team. We are looking for mission-driven individuals who want to help foster a love of learning while providing a safe environment for children to explore and grow.

Responsibilities

  • Organize program materials for lessons and activities, and document attendance, incidents, and other observations.
  • Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building that expands school day learning in a meaningful way.
  • Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being, and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play.
  • Communicate effectively with varied audiences including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
  • Mentor and guide children with special needs.

Requirements

  • Proof of High school diploma/GED required.
  • Ability to meet state-specific requirements; FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter, Cleared TB, Proof of MMR, and Food Handlers Card.
  • 18+ years of age.

Qualifications

  • Outstanding customer service and relationship building skills.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
  • Excellent communication skills with varied audience including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
  • Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
  • Respect for and dedication to working with children with special needs.
  • A love for children!
