Part Time Childcare Substitute Educator - Bethel School District
Educator Pay Rate
Pay Rate: $18-20/hr (based on education and experience)
Schedule
Schedule may vary due to coverage needs but program hours are as follows: 6:30am-9:25am & 3:00pm-6pm Monday-Friday
Leading by Example
Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children are enjoying themselves while also meeting program goals. You will achieve this by modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management.
Communication
Prioritize Safety and Joy: Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols. These may include documenting attendance, incidents, and other observations. Effective communication with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
Requirements
- Ideal Candidates Will Have The Following Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills
- Works well in a team environment
- At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age (preferred)
- Ability to lift 25lbs
- Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living
- Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed
Washington Requirements
- Ability to meet state-specific requirements
- First Aid and CPR-in-person
- Cleared tuberculosis test
- Food Handlers Card
- Proof of MMR
- 18+ years of age
- Proof of High School diploma/GED required
- Background Check with fingerprinting
