About the role
The Motorcycle Safety Range Aide assists instructors with non-instructional activities in the Motorcycle Safety Program. The position supports a safe and efficient learning environment by helping set up the training range, maintaining motorcycles, and assisting with class logistics.
This is a part-time, hourly staff position located at the Maple Woods Campus.
Responsibilities
- Assist instructors with retrieving and storing motorcycles before and after classes.
- Set up and organize the training range between exercises in various weather conditions.
- Provide assistance to ensure smooth transitions between exercises during range sessions.
- Perform basic maintenance and safety checks on motorcycles as directed.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned to support program operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least six (6) months of relevant experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional related experience or training in motorcycle safety, mechanical work, or technical assistance will be considered.

Physical Requirements
This position requires:
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, reaching, and climbing.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently and 20 pounds continuously.
- Work performed outdoors in a range of weather conditions and around mechanical equipment.
Environmental Conditions
Exposure to:
- Mechanical parts, vibrations, fumes, and noise.
- Extreme temperatures and other outdoor environmental conditions.
Pay
$15 per hour
