Motorcycle Mechanic (Part-time)

Responsibilities

• Afford customer service for the entire Department and campus community
• Engage in Departmental problem-solving for equipment issues; make recommendations for efficiencies and advancement regarding equipment
• Maintain a quality inventory database for maintenance parts, equipment, and material
• Inspect machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues
• Conduct quality repairs aiming for maximum reliability
• Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
• Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems
• Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components
• Keep logs of work and report on issues
• Perform other related work duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency required
• Valid Motorcycle License
• Valid Driver’s License

Qualifications

• Prior experience with motorcycles, especially repairing and maintaining them is preferred
