Part Time Spa Front Desk Agent

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests professionally and courteously.
  • Respond to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding appointments, club information, and guest concerns.
  • Complete established check-in procedures for arriving guests using both manual and computerized methods.
  • Calculate and post monies, receipts, guest accounts, and other forms of credit using accurate and proper cash handling methods.
  • Answer inquiries and accept appointments, both in person and by telephone, communicating service rates and information and using suggestive selling techniques to sell products and services.
  • Maintain a good customer relationship by using guest names throughout interactions, staying informed about in-house and area functions to provide timely and knowledgeable responses.
  • Maintain clear and concise communication with leadership team and management regarding any occurrences involving associates or guests requiring attention.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Past experience in dealing directly with the public and basic customer service skills.
  • Fluent in oral and written English.
  • Vision ability to read written communication and use computer screens.
  • Hand and finger dexterity to operate computer, calculator, and telephone keyboards for cash handling and paperwork processing.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, work on multiple tasks simultaneously, and communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service issues, including stressful and emotionally charged situations.
  • Highly organized and able to pay attention to minute details, particularly when performing multiple tasks.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate level mathematical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of standard cash handling procedures and computerized cash register systems.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Ability to stand for 90% of the shift, bend, kneel, and move around to assist clients.
  • Occasional carrying and lifting of files and office items up to 25 lbs.
