Part-Time Sonographer

Role Overview: The Cardiovascular Sonographer performs advanced ultrasound imaging to assist in diagnosing and monitoring medical conditions. Key Responsibilities: Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensure patient care, and collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of a Sonography program or on-the-job training with clinical hours; certification in ARDMS, CCI, or ARRT; BLS certification. Knowledge in producing diagnostic images, recognizing technical abnormalities, following protocols, and ensuring safety procedures. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical movements such as bending, reaching, and kneeling. Preferred Attributes: Attention to detail, strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
