Part Time Service Worker- Golf (Flex)

About the Role

The Part-Time Service Worker performs morning and evening golf course support duties. This position typically works fewer than 20 hours per week on rotating shifts, including regular weekend hours, and is not eligible for City benefits.

Responsibilities

• Morning Service Worker brings out the assigned number of golf carts and stages them at the Pro Shop.
• Morning Service Worker cleans on-course restrooms and empties trash on a regular basis.
• Afternoon Service Worker cleans carts and returns them to the cart barn.
• Afternoon Service Worker picks range balls and returns them to the ball dispenser.
• Makes minor repairs to golf carts.
• Notifies supervisor of cart or facility problems in a timely manner.
• Ensures the cart barn and clubhouse area are kept orderly and clean, including trash receptacles, shoe brushes, and doorways clear of leaves and grass.
• Observes safety rules and procedures.
• Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

• One year of work experience.
• Appropriate Texas driver's license.

Skills

Knowledge of: general custodial duties and golf cart operation and maintenance.

Ability to:

• Follow written and oral instructions.
• Communicate orally and establish effective working relationships with employees and the public.
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods.
• Maintain a positive professional image.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions (hot, cold, wet).
• Work variable shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Pay

Starting salary: $11/hour
