Part Time Service Worker (Carts AM/PM) - Golf

Part-time position working less than 20 hours per week in rotating shifts, including weekends. Not eligible for City benefits.

Responsibilities

• Morning Service Worker: bring out the assigned number of golf carts and stage them at the Pro Shop.
• Assist with tournament cart staging and tournament range set up.
• Clean on-course restrooms and empty trash on a regular basis.
• Afternoon Service Worker: clean carts and return them to the cart barn.
• Pick up range balls and return them to the ball dispenser.
• Make minor repairs to golf carts.
• Notify supervisors of cart or facility problems in a timely manner.
• Keep the cart barn and clubhouse (outside) area orderly and clean, including trash receptacles, shoe brushes, and doorways clear of leaves and grass.
• Observe safety rules and procedures.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• General knowledge of custodial duties and golf cart operation and maintenance.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to communicate orally and establish effective working relationships with employees and the public.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to maintain a positive professional image.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (hot, cold, wet).
• Ability to work variable shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• One year of work experience.
• Appropriate Texas driver's license.

Pay

$11/hour

Schedule

• AM shift start time: usually 5:00 AM.
• PM shift start time: usually 4:00 PM.
• Schedule varies depending on tournaments, regular play days, or seasonal time of year.
