Part-Time Flex Worker
About the role
Join our Flex team inspecting and popping out parts for our IG Division. Hours worked are selected from your computer using a scheduling tool.
Responsibilities
- Perform primarily seated, hands-on work inspecting manufactured parts for quality and accuracy
- Remove parts from fixtures or molds (“pop” parts out as needed)
- Manually apply adhesives to components in accordance with specifications
- Work independently at an assigned workstation, table, or booth
- Operate in a clean, climate-controlled production environment
- Conduct detailed visual inspections, sometimes within enclosed spaces (e.g., drop curtain areas) to ensure quality standards
- Work under bright lighting conditions for inspection accuracy
Requirements
- Work a minimum of 12 hours a month
- Work no more than 28 hours a week
- Must be at least 16 years of age to apply
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Basic math skills
- Familiar with departmental and company safety, housekeeping, and PPE practices
