Flex Production Operator - Part Time

$25.55 per hour

This part-time role is part of our Flex Manufacturing Program with flexible hours. Typical hours per week are 16‑29 hours, varying by location. Shifts may include weekends, some holidays, and periodic overtime.

About the role

In this role you will be a key member of the Land O’Lakes manufacturing team, performing front‑line production processes that add value and quality to inputs and create final high‑quality products. You will gain experience taking raw materials to produce final products for customers, including operating machinery and equipment and packaging the final product.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety processes and promote safety practices for self and others.
• Show up on time, complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt to changes quickly.
• Multi‑task and keep up with production demands in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ensure all quality standards and standard operating procedures are followed during production.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Follow instructions of Leads and Management to accomplish daily work assignments.

Required Experience and Skills

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 6+ months of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem‑solve and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; always respectful.

Preferred Experience

• 1+ year of manufacturing work experience.
• Machine operation and/or forklift experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing, and other active movements.
• Perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
• Work in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods, and may include areas with dust and chemicals.
• Required to work scheduled shifts which may include weekends, some holidays, and periodic overtime.
