Part Time Senior Living Server

About the role

Server in a senior living community, responsible for providing meal service in the dining room to residents, ensuring a pleasant and efficient dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow written and oral directions to serve meals and assist with meal setup.
• Take orders, serve food, and deliver trays as requested by kitchen staff.
• Bus tables and trays, pour beverages, and assist with food preparation and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and proper use of equipment.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff, acting as a liaison between residents and food service.
• Observe infection control procedures and residents' rights policies.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a professional appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned, supporting a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Physical ability to stand, lift up to 40 pounds, and perform various movements required for service.
• Ability to relate respectfully and courteously to residents and colleagues.
• Must pass background checks and drug testing.
