About the role

Server in a senior living community, responsible for meal service and related tasks in the dining room.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals and assist with meal setup, tray delivery, and bussing.
• Follow dietary standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Communicate effectively with residents and team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper use of kitchen and dining areas.
• Ensure a pleasant and efficient dining experience while observing safety and infection control policies.
• Support resident-centered activities and participate in team meetings and training.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Physical capability to stand, lift up to 40 pounds, and perform related tasks.
• Professional appearance, good hygiene, and dependability.
• Ability to follow directions and adhere to safety and policy procedures.
• Must pass drug testing and background checks.
• Relate to residents and staff courteously in a supportive manner.
