About the role
Provide telemedicine mental health care to clients across diverse age groups, with a primary focus on adults and adolescents.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluate clients
- Prescribe medications and create individualized care plans
- Collaborate with clients and staff while adhering to clinical guidelines
- Treat conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and related disorders
- Provide telehealth psychiatric evaluations and complete assessments
- Coordinate treatment plans and ensure client safety
Qualifications
- Board-certified and licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the practicing state
- Master's degree in Nursing with prescriptive authority
- Minimum one year of psychiatry experience; three years preferred
- Understanding of EMR systems such as AdvancedMD is a plus
- Willingness to treat clients aged 14 and up
- Completion of in-house ADHD training and willingness to treat ADHD clients
