About the Role
Provide telemedicine mental health care to diverse clients, primarily adults and adolescents, focusing on conditions such as depression, anxiety, and ADHD. Conduct assessments, prescribe medication, develop care plans, and collaborate with clients and staff while adhering to clinical guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
- Prescribe and manage medications
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Complete thorough clinical assessments
- Ensure compliance with clinical practice standards and guidelines
- Collaborate with regional staff and care teams
- Participate in ongoing training, particularly on ADHD treatment
- Maintain safe telemedicine practices with a client-centered approach
Requirements
- Active licensure and certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Master’s degree in nursing with prescriptive authority
- Minimum of one year of psychiatric practice experience
- Willingness to treat clients aged 14 and older
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and residency in the practicing state
Qualifications
- Prior experience in psychiatric mental health care
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
