About the role
Join a telemedicine-focused mental health organization as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
Responsibilities
- Conducting psychiatric assessments and evaluations via telemedicine for clients aged 14 and above.
- Prescribing medications based on client symptoms and diagnosis, following clinical guidelines.
- Developing and collaborating on personalized care plans.
- Completing necessary documentation and assessment tools.
- Adhering to clinical practice standards and consulting with regional staff on client care.
Qualifications
- Active licensure and board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
- Master's degree in Nursing with prescriptive authority.
- Minimum of one year in psychiatric practice, with three years' experience preferred.
- Experience with EMR systems like AdvancedMD is a plus.
- Part-time availability of 15-20 hours weekly.
