About the role
Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for assessing residents' health, developing and updating personalized care plans, and ensuring quality care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Assess residents' health, educational, and environmental needs upon admission and ongoing.
- Communicate significant changes to the interdisciplinary team (IDT) and document assessments accurately.
- Create and revise care plans collaboratively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Implement nursing interventions, including medication, treatments, and IV fluids, ensuring safety and timeliness.
- Use critical thinking to manage changes in residents' conditions and notify physicians appropriately.
- Monitor care effectiveness, address problem areas via QAPI processes, and respond to residents' behavioral or health changes.
- Assist with resident activities of daily living (ADLs), answer call lights, and provide direct care as needed.
- Maintain current nursing knowledge through ongoing education and policy adherence.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program leading to RN licensure.
- Valid RN license in the state of practice.
- CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Critical thinking, excellent communication, and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and maneuver residents and equipment safely.
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity.

- Compensation ranges from $29.39 to $48.20 per hour.
