RN REHAB (PART TIME)

About the Role

Valley Health Specialty Hospital is the first orthopedic surgery and inpatient rehabilitation facility in the Las Vegas area, offering both specialty orthopedics and inpatient rehab in one location. This role provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy, while serving as a professional leader and support to the healthcare team. Patient Centered Care concepts will guide all nursing practices. The position oversees and guides employees under supervision and demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Service Excellence standards consistently.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Current PALS Certification (for pediatric patients) or NRP Certification (for Neonatal patients) as required by department.
• Other certifications as required by the facility, specialty, or department.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (BSN preferred).
• One year full-time or three years part-time experience in an acute care setting preferred.
