Part Time Recruiter

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Part-Time Recruiter to support high-volume hiring efforts for hourly positions across multiple departments. This role manages the front end of the recruiting process, including reviewing applications, conducting thorough phone screens, and coordinating interviews with hiring leaders. The ideal candidate understands that successful recruiting is about finding the right fit—not simply filling interview schedules. This position requires someone who is naturally curious, asks thoughtful follow-up questions, and takes the time to thoroughly evaluate candidates before moving them through the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming applications and compare candidate qualifications against job requirements.
• Source and identify qualified candidates for a variety of hourly positions.
• Conduct in-depth phone screens to assess experience, qualifications, communication skills, and overall fit.
• Ask meaningful follow-up questions to better understand candidates' work history, motivations, and career goals.
• Evaluate candidate quality and determine whether they should advance in the interview process.
• Schedule interviews with hiring managers and internal recruiters for qualified candidates.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system.
