Part Time Reading and Writing Teacher

About the role

Part-time Reading and Writing Teacher positions at Julia Gabriel Centre, Orchard Road.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and teach classes in accordance with Julia Gabriel Centre’s methodology and Reading & Writing programme requirements.
• Provide high quality, interactive and engaging literacy lessons.
• Adopt positive guidance techniques and strategies at all times.
• Communicate with parents and provide constructive feedback in line with the programmes’ requirements.
• Attend in-house training sessions provided for curriculum related matters and professional development.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Early Childhood Education, Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching, Education, English, English Literature/ Linguistics or NIE teacher qualifications preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in teaching Primary levels and/or preschool levels preferred. Fresh English graduates with internship experience will be considered.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, creative, good team player.
• Good communication, interpersonal and classroom management skills.
• Enjoy working with children from ages 3 to 6 years old.
