Part-Time Phlebotomist

About the role

Phlebotomist responsible for specimen collection, patient service, and administrative duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for various tests including drug screens, paternity, and alcohol tests.
• Accurately enter patient data and process billing information.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain specimen and patient logs.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
• Carry out administrative tasks and travel to additional sites as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency.
• CPR certification preferred.
• 1+ year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Reliable transportation.
• Flexibility for overtime.
• Passing a color blindness test.
