Part-Time Phlebotomist

About the role

This dynamic position is responsible for collecting blood samples across various patient sites, including Patient Service Centers and doctor's offices. You will draw quality blood specimens, prepare samples for lab testing, enter billing information, collect payments when needed, mentor new staff, serve as a resource for colleagues, and travel between sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy duties within assigned territories, ensuring specimen quality and proper procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service and education to patients.
• Travel to multiple sites as needed.
• Contribute to team training and support.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; preferred medical assistant or paramedic training.
• Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, and WA.
• At least five years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Preferred experience in a Patient Service Center environment and customer service background.
• Strong communication skills in English, with data entry experience.
