Part-Time Phlebotomist

About the role

Accurately draw blood samples from patients in clinics, patient service centers, and other settings. Ensure specimen quality, verify patient information, and maintain thorough documentation. Create a trusting environment, demonstrate leadership, and adhere to safety and confidentiality standards. Handle both forensic and clinical collections, including pediatric and geriatric patients, and promote a positive image through professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collection and processing accurately and efficiently.
• Verify patient demographic information and labels to ensure specimen integrity.
• Maintain safety, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Support process excellence and provide excellent patient service.

Requirements

• At least three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Excellent blood draw skills.
• Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and communicate effectively.
• Flexibility for travel, overtime, and working at multiple locations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; medical training or phlebotomy certification preferred.

Skills

• Prior customer service experience.
• Data entry skills.
