Part-Time Phlebotomist

About the role

A skilled Phlebotomist II to perform blood collection and related tasks in a fast-paced environment, serving all age groups including pediatric and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, error-free phlebotomy work with minimal supervision.
• Cover multiple locations, including Patient Service Centers and in-office phlebotomy sites, often with short notice.
• Adhere to all policies, safety protocols, and dress codes.
• Make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, peers, and supervisors, demonstrating superior customer service.
• Handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred, required in some states.
• 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Experience in a Patient Service Center environment and customer service background highly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel as needed.
