Part-Time Phlebotomist

Performs phlebotomy tasks in a physician office setting, ensuring proper specimen collection and handling. This role requires maintaining patient comfort, adhering to safety protocols, and accurately processing laboratory specimens.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (Required)

Experience & Skills

• Knowledge of medical laboratory practices, procedures, and terminology (Required)
• Familiarity with lab/reference manuals, formularies, ICD-10, and lab procedures (Required)

Certifications & Licensure

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required within 90 days of start)
• Preferred: ASCP registry or equivalent, Certified phlebotomy technician
