About the role

Cub Fridley is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to join their dedicated team. The role involves processing prescriptions, record keeping, and stock support to the Pharmacy. Key responsibilities include assisting pharmacists in filling prescriptions, ensuring accurate order processing, maintaining product availability, and adhering to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the pharmacist in filling prescriptions
  • Processes customers' orders with accuracy and product knowledge
  • Maintains positive customer relations
  • Hazardous drug handling
  • Performs department receiving and stocking
  • Orders supplies as needed
  • Pulls bottles of drugs for Pharmacists to fill prescriptions
  • Organizes and cleans the pharmacy area
  • Maintains Board of Pharmacy regulations

Requirements

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate and use various office equipment
  • Flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good judgment required for decision-making
  • Physical requirements: lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs., walking on uneven ground, reaching, bending, repetitive motions

Compensation

UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements.
