Part Time Pharmacy Technician

About the role
Cub Rosemount is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to join their team. The role involves processing prescriptions, record keeping, and stock support to the Pharmacy.
Responsibilities
- Assists the pharmacist in filling prescriptions
- Responsible for accurately processing customers’ orders through ensuring price accuracy and product knowledge
- Ensures positive customer relations
- Hazardous drug handling
- Performs department receiving and stocking
- Affords assistance in ordering
- Pulls bottles of drugs for Pharmacists to fill prescriptions
- Organizes and cleans
- Maintains Board of Pharmacy regulations
Requirements
- Ability to communicate through two-way verbal and written communication (speech, hearing and writing)
- Ability to operate and use as needed various office equipment (personal computer, telephone, fax)
- Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and evenings
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to write and see things in close proximity (reading distance)
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal communication
- Ability to read/ view computer screens for extensive periods of time
- Requires High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age and older
- Good judgement is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available
Physical Requirements
- Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs
- Walking on uneven ground
- Reaching, bending, repetitive motions
