Part Time Pharmacy Technician

About the role

Cub Coon Rapids South is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to join their dedicated team at Northdale Boulevard. The role involves processing prescriptions, record keeping, and stock support to the Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Assists the pharmacist in filling prescriptions
• Responsible for accurately processing customers’ orders through ensuring price accuracy and product knowledge
• Ensures positive customer relations
• Hazardous drug handling
• Performs department receiving and stocking
• Aids in ordering
• Pulls bottles of drugs for Pharmacists to fill prescriptions
• Organizes and cleans
• Maintains Board of Pharmacy regulations

Requirements

• Ability to communicate through two-way verbal and written communication (speech, hearing and writing)
• Ability to operate and use as needed various office equipment (personal computer, telephone, fax)
• Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and evenings
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to write and see things in close proximity (reading distance)
• Ability to comprehend written and verbal communication
• Ability to read/ view computer screens for extensive periods of time
• Requires High School Diploma or GED
• Good judgement is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, repetitive motions
