Part Time Pharmacy Technician

Job Overview

Cub Brooklyn Park North is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician.

About the Role

The role involves assisting the pharmacist in filling prescriptions, ensuring accurate order processing, maintaining stock, and adhering to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Assists the pharmacist in filling prescriptions
• Processes customers' orders with price accuracy and product knowledge
• Maintains positive customer relations
• Hazardous drug handling
• Performs department receiving and stocking
• Orders supplies as needed
• Pulls bottles of drugs for pharmacists to fill prescriptions
• Organizes and cleans the pharmacy area
• Maintains Board of Pharmacy regulations

Requirements

• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to operate various office equipment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Good judgment required for decision-making
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years of age and older

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, and performing repetitive motions

Pay

UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements.
