About the role
We are seeking a Periodontist for a part-time clinical role in El Paso, TX, offering two days per month of surgical care. Our mission focuses on expanding access to quality, affordable dental care in underserved communities, supporting specialists dedicated to patient care and clinical impact.
Responsibilities
The role involves diagnosing and treating periodontal and peri-implant diseases, performing full-scope periodontal and implant surgeries, and managing a variety of cases, including consults, follow-ups, and same-day surgeries when appropriate. Specific procedures include:
- pocket reduction
- osseous surgery
- soft-tissue grafting
- flap procedures
- crown lengthening
- implant placement
- grafting
- sinus augmentation
The specialist will collaborate with general dentists, hygienists, and assistants to ensure efficient patient care and proper documentation, adhering to clinical standards.
Qualifications
Qualifications include a DDS or DMD degree, completion of a CODA-accredited residency, and an active Texas dental license. Board certification or eligibility is preferred. Experience in periodontal and implant surgery and comfort with flexible scheduling are required.
