Part-Time Periodontist

About the role

This part-time position is for a Periodontist providing surgical care in Killeen, TX.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat periodontal and peri-implant disease
• Perform full-scope periodontal procedures, including:
  • Pocket reduction
  • Osseous surgery
  • Soft-tissue grafting
  • Crown lengthening
  • Implant placement
  • Grafting or sinus augmentation when needed
• Manage a variety of cases, including surgical procedures, consults, and follow-ups
• Collaborate with dental team members to ensure efficient patient care and case acceptance
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical standards

Requirements

• DDS or DMD degree
• Completion of a CODA-accredited residency
• Active Texas dental license
• Board certification or eligibility in periodontics (preferred)
• Experience in periodontal and implant surgery within clinical settings
• Comfort with flexible scheduling, including same-day surgeries
