Part-Time Periodontist

About the role

This part-time position seeks a Periodontist to provide specialized surgical care on a flexible schedule, primarily two days per month, supporting underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat periodontal and peri-implant diseases
• Perform full-scope periodontal procedures, including:
  • Pocket reduction
  • Osseous surgery
  • Soft-tissue grafting
  • Flap procedures
  • Crown lengthening
  • Implant placement
  • Grafting or sinus augmentation when needed
• Manage diverse case types
• Collaborate with dental team members
• Support case acceptance
• Maintain accurate documentation to meet clinical standards

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree
• Completion of a CODA-accredited residency
• Active Texas dental license
• Experience in periodontal and implant surgeries
• Board certification preferred

Schedule

Primarily two days per month, with a flexible schedule.

Additional details

Travel to El Paso is supported, and candidates do not need to reside locally. This position emphasizes patient care and clinical impact in a supportive environment.
