About the role

We are seeking a Patient Registration Specialist to provide welcoming customer service, collect demographic and insurance details, and accurately enter information into electronic medical records. This role emphasizes diversity, health equity, and delivering quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility
• Resolve registration issues
• Assist with financial aid applications
• Direct patients to appointments
• Schedule appointments (as needed)
• Document issues
• Support complex billing processes

Requirements

• At least 2+ years of customer service experience
• 6+ months of experience in healthcare revenue cycle activities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Preferred experience with electronic medical records and Epic systems

Physical demands

• Walking and standing for extended periods
• Lifting up to 10 lbs

Pay

$18–$32 per hour
