Part-Time Paramedic

About the role

We are hiring a Paramedic for a full-time role focused on delivering high-quality, compassionate emergency medical care.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine the appropriate action following advanced protocols.
• Provide advanced medical care using equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their loved ones to offer reassurance and information.
• Act as team leader at scenes, managing the scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance during emergency responses.
• Collaborate professionally with health and public safety personnel.

Additional Duties

• Participate in community programs to promote the organization’s image and build community relations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• State Paramedic License and Driver’s License.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic.
• Clean driving record and successful completion of physical agility tests.

Qualifications

Healthcare work experience preferred.
