Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, advanced patient care using medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, and IV fluids.
• Assess call situations and determine appropriate actions; act as team leader when needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare and public safety personnel.
• Develop triage skills to ensure efficient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and receiving facilities.
• Manage scene and unit operations.
• Drive ambulances and support navigation to minimize response times.
• Participate in community outreach to foster strong relations.
• Maintain community relationships, report interactions, and perform assigned tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Montana Paramedic Certification or pending certification.
• National Registry certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, and BTLS certifications.
• Clean driving record.
• Pass drug, background, and physical agility tests.
• Ability to work overnight shifts.
