Part-Time Paramedic

Role: Part-Time Paramedic Responsibilities Assess call situations and determine appropriate actions following paramedic protocols.Utilize advanced medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IVs to deliver quality patient care.Communicate compassionately with patients and their loved ones, providing reassurance and information.Lead scene management and coordinate with team members and public safety personnel as needed.Develop triage skills to optimize response efficiency during emergencies.Follow clinical protocols and safety standards in patient care.Lift and move patients to ensure proper treatment.Communicate with receiving facilities for medical direction and critical information exchange.Drive ambulances, support navigation, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure rapid response.Participate in community outreach programs to strengthen community relations.Maintain regular contact with healthcare facilities and report interactions to management.Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED; advanced education preferred.Current Montana Paramedic Certification or application pending.National Registry certification.Valid State Driver’s License and a safe driving record.Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, BTLS certifications.Ability to pass drug, background, and physical agility screenings.
