Responsibilities

• Assess emergency situations and determine appropriate action following protocols.
• Use advanced medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IVs to provide care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to offer reassurance and information.
• Serve as team leader when needed, managing scene safety and unit operations.
• Operate an ambulance during emergency responses.
• Collaborate professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel.
• Engage in community programs to promote positive community relations.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid state Paramedic license and driver’s license.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NREMT‑Paramedic.
• Clean driving record according to company policy.
• Ability to pass a physical agility test.
• Some healthcare work experience preferred.
