Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to residents in a supportive and enriching environment.
• Contribute to the well-being of residents by addressing their physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development and skills.

Requirements

• A current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Virginia.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• At least one year of relevant experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR).
• Experience with evidence-based practices and innovative therapies.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Skills

• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques.
