Responsibilities
- Provides and directs Occupational Therapy services to residents and students including assessments, goals, treatment plans, program planning and implementation, related documentation and communication.
- Performs annual evaluation for IPP and IEP meetings.
- Performs duties as clinical instructor for potential OT students and supervises COTAs.
- Aids in aqua therapy and orthotics as needed.
- Provides training and in-services to staff and caregivers on occupational therapy related topics as needed.
Requirements
- Licensed/Registered Occupational Therapist in Illinois.
- Possess current BLS CPR certification for Healthcare Workers.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Experience with OT treatment, evaluations & IEP meetings required.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and to meet its functional and environmental requirements.
