About the role

Provides professional nursing care in long-term care settings under supervision, demonstrating competency across clinical standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents, administer medications and treatments, and perform testing.
• Document interactions and recognize problems, recommending solutions.
• Respond effectively to ensure residents' health, comfort, and safety.
• Counsel residents and families on prevention and care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals within an interdisciplinary team.
• Provide care aligned with resident needs and ensure proper documentation.
• Contribute to assessments and support the healthcare team.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Hold an unencumbered LPN license.
• Clinical experience.
