Part Time Night Nurse

About the Role

Provide professional nursing care in long-term care settings under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care tailored to residents' physical and psychosocial needs, following care plans.
• Perform assessments, administer medications and treatments, and evaluate resident data.
• Recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively to health emergencies.
• Document resident interactions, care outcomes, and maintain accurate records.
• Educate residents and families on prevention and self-care programs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members and support interdisciplinary care.
• Maintain confidentiality and communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including technical support and resident counseling.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program; associate degree preferred.
• Current, unencumbered LPN license with state and/or multi-state privileges.
• Experience or coursework in IV therapy (if required for the role).
• Ability to perform clinical assessments, work effectively with teams, and maintain confidentiality.
• Willingness to complete continuing education and department-specific certifications.
