Part Time Night Nurse

About the Role

Provide professional nursing care in long-term care settings under supervision, focusing on compassionate care, effective communication, and adherence to standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' physical and psychosocial needs, document interactions, and administer medications or treatments as prescribed.
• Recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively to resident health and safety concerns.
• Support residents, families, and healthcare team members through counseling and education on prevention and care plans.
• Perform testing to evaluate resident data and contribute to assessments.
• Maintain effective communication, confidentiality, and teamwork within an interdisciplinary care setting.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program; associate degree preferred.
• Current unencumbered LPN license with state and/or multi-state licensure privileges.
• For IV therapy skills, completion of approved coursework or program.
• Experience or clinical hours in nursing across the lifespan.
• Ability to complete ongoing training, certifications, and continuing education.
