Part Time Night Nurse

About the role

Provide professional nursing care in long-term care settings under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and implement care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Monitor resident health status through testing and data evaluation
• Recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond to emergencies
• Document resident interactions and care outcomes
• Counsel residents and families on prevention and treatment
• Collaborate with healthcare team members and maintain confidentiality
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program; associate degree preferred
• Current unencumbered LPN license and multi-state licensure privileges
• Competency in relevant clinical skills, including IV therapy if required
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team
• Strong communication skills and confidentiality awareness
• Continuing education to maintain licensure and certifications
