Part Time Night Nurse

About the Role

Provide professional nursing care in a long-term care setting under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document residents' health status and outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Recognize health issues, respond effectively, and assist in emergent situations.
• Support the healthcare team with technical and clinical tasks.
• Educate residents and families on prevention and self-care plans.
• Maintain confidentiality and communicate clearly with residents, families, and team members.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary care planning and documentation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current unencumbered LPN license and multi-state licensure privileges.
• Experience with clinical care, including supervised clinical hours or equivalent.
• For IV therapy, additional certification or coursework may be required depending on state.
• Complete annual continuing education and competency requirements.
